Welcome to Cherry Tree Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient, tried-and-tested form of healthcare that has been used in the Far East for thousands of years
My name is Vicky Newman and I am a fully qualified acupuncturist with a First-Class Honours degree (BSc Hons) in Acupuncture, from the renowned International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM).
My training included learning about the Five Element, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Stems and Branches theories of Chinese medicine, and I tailor individual treatments to each patient’s needs. I also offer Facial Enhancement Acupuncture (FEA)
Joining the ambulance service in 2003, I have progressed in my career to become an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, giving me an in-depth knowledge of western medical conditions and treatments, which helps me in my practice.

Traditional Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture is one of the safest and longest established forms of healthcare. Being a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is used to restore the body’s equilibrium in both therapeutic and preventative aims.
Conditions and imbalances
It can be equally effective in treating both chronic and acute conditions. It not only addresses and relieves the symptoms of a disorder but can also be applied to addressing constitutional imbalances that can be contributing to the overall complaint.
Facial Enhancement Acupuncture
Facial acupuncture is a safe, non-surgical method, used to reduce the signs of the ageing process,
The World Health Organisation (WHO) also acknowledges acupuncture for the treatment of many conditions, including:
- Addictions
- Anxiety and depression
- Headaches and migraines
- Insomnia
- Low back pain
- Pain management
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Allergies
- Hayfever
- Hypertension
- Joint pain
- Menstrual issues
- Pregnancy and labor
